ESP COURSE SELF-ASSESSMENT

· WRITING (A SUMMARY)

Summary in University was one of many new things I had to learn. At first it was a difficult task, but as there were more assignments, my skills were increasing. The exam showed that I am now capable of writing a summary.

· PERFORMANCE IN ESP VOCABULARY TESTS

Writing vocabulary tests I realized that the performance depends on the subject. If the subject is learned in Lithuanian, then the test goes smoothly as well in English.

· PERFORMANCE IN CLASS DICTATIONS

This activity was the most frustrating of all. I agree that it helps to correct some grammar or punctuation issues but overall it is not the kind of activity that I would prioritize in ESP course.

· LISTENING PRACTICE IN CLASS

Listening practices were good. My performance was also good. This activity is important, because it is all about understanding and getting used to the pronunciation.

· MAIKING POWER POINT PRESENTATION

Interesting task. I have got used to it because it is required in almost every subject in the university.

· IMPROMPTU SPEAKING IN CLASS

Impromptu speaking was really easy and interesting at the same time. While speaking on the subject it is easier to store information about the issues.

· WRITING CONTRIBUTIONS TO E-PORTFOLIO (WEBLOG)

This activity was boring to me, because I am not that person who is very delighted doing these kind of things with computer, but I can deal with things I do not like.
